This new nonprofit that launched in July 2016 partnered with a local Crossing Supportive Rapid-Rehousing project. 15 housing units for 18-25 year olds.

Young adults are to be employed within 45-90 days of enrollment. 60% of the 15 residents to graduate the program with stable employment and into their own apartment in the community.

Obtain a GED/high school diploma. Acquire savings of $2,500.

And the outcomes are apparent. Here's Simon, a 21 year old participant in the project...

"I just like being able to channel my energy better and it really helps me get the steps I need to do that," Simon said.

He doesn't feel as tense throughout the day when he starts his day with yoga. Simon has gone to just about every class offered in the past two months.

If you haven't included an arts, music or yoga intervention component in your homeless youth project, then you're doing it wrong.
