If Most, If Not All, Of Your Homeless Youth Are Not Exiting Into Permanent Supportive Housing, You Might Be Doing It Wrong.

Milwaukee is a get-it-done community for our homeless youth exiting foster care.

4-unit home for homeless youth. City sold it to a local nonprofit for $1 and a $60,000 investment.

$80,000 investment from the county.

The previous housing property provided homes with life skills assistance to 6 homeless youth.

100% of them exited into permanent housing. Fantastic.

What a get-it-done community. Partnering with a city and county government who both took principled public investment stands with their taxpayer dollars.

In Central Florida. There isn't even a homeless youth plan. Not even a piece of property committed to investment into by public officials.

Not even a sketch drawing of a 20-unit apartment housing complex. We can't even get it on a city or county agenda.

Milwaukee. They just got it done.

Nobody raised their hand and said, "Well, what about the risky neighborhood?"

Naaaa. We can get 10 homeless youth into successful adulthood with housing first. Let's get that done.

And that's okay. To have a couple of communities in this country.

That just get stuff done.

Who are get-it-done communities. With get-it-done people. Incredible.
