Changing The Narratives is a global purpose-driven, social impact project whose mission is to transform the lives of young people in housing crisis’ by ending youth homelessness in our world. For good.
Many current narratives surrounding the issue of ending youth homelessness cite a lack of funding as one of the primary barriers to successfully housing our homeless youth.
This lack of funding narrative is misguided.
We have a leadership problem. Not a lack of funding problem.
Many of our homeless youth projects do not have the right leadership in place with sufficient fund development skills. Or an effective long-term funding engagement & strategy plan. Or the right board of directors with the right cache.
To attract, secure & retain at least $1M in funding investments to create, implement & evaluate outcome-based homeless youth projects. To support the high income structures necessary for transitioned-aged youth.
To see the plethora of bold, million-dollar invested, urban & rural homeless youth projects being funded at the federal, state & local levels. Researched projects that span over 4 years on a daily basis. Funded projects here in the U.S. and abroad.
We take no days off. We hold no office hours.
Our vision is to be the global leadership necessary to be unafraid of bold action to put an end to youth homelessness in our communities. From communities in the United States to communities in Puerto Rico, UK, Brazil, South Africa, China & Australia.
To set an elite standard in organizational diversity, capacity & leadership in global homeless youth projects.
Real-time financial transparency. Evidence-based, outcome-based & results-oriented approaches. ESG impact metrics.
Highly talented black, hispanic & other multi-cultural adult leaders representing our marginalized, minority & LGBTQ youth target sub-populations as organizational decision-makers & life coaches.
Multi-year, million-dollar long-term, leverage investment generation. No “starvation cycles” typically found in nonprofit funding environments. We pursue catalytic capital to get high-value results in the lives of our youth.
No waiting lists. No turning youth away.
View our projects for details about the housing 100 homeless youth in Florida in 100 days project with direct state-funded taxpayer dollars just under $1M USD (over $1.6M USD after financial leveraging).
We recognize the increasing demand from donors, funders & investors for data reporting associated with their financial contributions. Our projects measure outcomes not outputs. We measure social impact not just ROI.
Stick around. Stay engaged. Stay informed.
And if you want to get involved. And use your passion, resources & talents in a global cause for homeless youth.
And be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Bigger than our own personal agendas. Bigger than our own circumstances.
